OLD LEVIN

A nice old Swedish-made classical type guitar which was the victim of GBH... CC gave the owner an honest quote. He didn't have the wherewithal & he gave CC the casualty.

Big job, but worth the effort - apart from al the many cracks in the table & sides - every rib (the bars which support the table & the back) had become unglued.

Strung it up this afternoon to find it actually sounds pretty good with nylon strings. In my opinion it would sound better with Silk & Steel strings - it was designed for either...

After all that I discovered that one side had become loose from the tail block - ho-hum - will rectify that tomorrow!
