On The Move

Our usual cafe venue of the Penny Bank in Kirbymoorside was closed for refurbishment. It has just changed hands and the new owner announced that he was bringing a new concept to the town. He wants people to mix more and with that in mind will have long tables where you sit and talk to your neighbours.

Not sure how much market research has been undertaken. The cafe was very successful as it was. Not that I am against change but if it ain't broke why fix it? One thing is for sure if he can't accommodate our group then we will be off to pastures new! We look forward to catching up with one another each week.

A quick walk in the woods before a round trip to York and then Bramham dropping off the controls for the next bike Orienteering planner and then delivering Matthew's degree certificate that he managed to forget and we couldn't rely on the mail to get it to him for tomorrow.
