Bright sun but wintry showers

Timing was of the essence today.  The sun was warm but the squally hail showers were horrid.  I took my chance and wandered up over the hill behind Stonnall Church and thought this picture shows both the lovely sunshine as well as the threatening clouds.  The public footpath passes through the rape field and this entails brushing past some of the blooms.  When I got back to the car my black trousers had turned yellow with the pollen.
