Capri V of Buenos Aires

Thank you so much for the overwhelming response to the Tango shot yesterday! It is particularly nice to hear from you when I'm on the road.

Not everything is glamour in Buenos Aires! If this is Capri V, I wonder what Capri I, II, III and IV may look like? Anyway, I almost risked my life (or camera) for this shot. I spotted this boat earlier in the week from the taxi, and I wanted to capture it before leaving. So this morning I went for a longer than expected walk for find it. I had to cross the entire container port area of Buenos Aires, a fairy grim neighborhood, and I had this funny feeling that Vikings with a camera were looked upon as easy prey! Before reaching my destination, I chickened out and too a taxi back to the hotel. That was probably a smart move, as the taxi driver who took me to the airport said that there was a so-called "Villa" (shanty town) just next to where I was walking. He was very kind though, and stopped just by the boat so that I could get my blip!

Now, I've arrived in São Paulo ready for a week of work with a few colleagues.
