Pictures at an Exhibition

A fantastic exhibition of photographs of alpine plants, staged at a day conference that I was involved with today. The whole day was a fantastic success, speakers from Scotland, Holland and Kew sharing knowledge and practical experience in the most entertaining way.

Jon Evans display of photographs was inspirational but he also raised a few smiles with a series of composite images. Small children sitting in the flowers of slipper orchids or cushion plants, eagles perched on arisaemas and here Meercats burrowing in the cushion of a rare Dionysia. the same plant featured elsewhere in a 12 inch pot!
