We packed up the tent and headed home for a bit then went back out as Alf had a football match.. Which they lost.... Booo. Still never mind they all enjoyed it.

Frances and Bill came round this afternoon to take the Marquee down (you know it is the end of Summer when you take the Marquee down!). We then decided to burn some of the older bales we had used for seating.. This was going really rather well until we had a visit from the Police and Fire Brigade.... Seems there are some arsonists about who are burning haystacks.. They saw the smoke and decided to investigate. They were happy once they found out it was an intentional fire and we were looking after it.

Then to Bill and Frances's for a BBQ, lovely. Just got back to find three of the chickens are missing, no sign of a scuffle so hopefully they will turn up in the morning..
