Great Emails!

I went back to work yesterday. I was supposed to be a driver, but they decided that I shouldn't....and they are probably right. I don't want to be responsible for others with only one and a half hands on the wheel.

I still have cuts on my fingers and they are swollen and can't bend fully yet, so I am not allowed to do anything clinical...no needlework for me! I did health screening all day yesterday, but today I was on welcome and reg as well. 

I had been given a name of someone in marketing and this morning I sent an email saying I had been given the authorisation from one of the top managers to get some T-shirts printed ready for our Dragon Boat Race next month. I arrived home tonight and I have a reply saying that is all sorted, where do I want them delivered and a design suggestion. Oh, I love it when things are handled so smoothly. I just need to get everyone pushing for sponsors now. We are hoping to raise £1000 for The Christie (hospital for those with cancer). 

Speaking of emails....I just had a chortle. I received an email from Bolton's Library and Museum and one of the events was 'Awesome Origami'.....'Really!!!' I thought, "At the museum?"....then I realised it was paper folding. *snigger snigger*
