Blossom; robin; martenitsa; snow...

... and almost in focus! At long last we have a flowering fruit tree in our garden, so here's Livresse's martenitsa hanging from our cherry, together with an interested spectator. Not only is spring late where we live, it's also crazy this year since light snow was falling as I took this, so maybe the tree is going to need all the fertility magic it can get if it's to produce fruit this year.

I worked from home today, with every intention of spending it marking, but iffy broadband meant that I ended up completing my seminar presentation, after which I was thankful for having a couple of project hard copies to mark.
