Piazza, New York Catcher

New York doesn't let you lie in, so despite our late night we were up early and off to the Guggenheim. Such a fantastic building, I drove Karen mad trying to snap a recreation of my favourite 'New Yorker' cover inside.

Picked up a picnic from the nearby Dean & DeLuca deli and made our way to Central Park. We wandered round the reservoir then found some picnic benches and settled in amongst the New York children's birthday parties.

Trip to the natural history museum to gawp at the dinosaurs, cuppa and cupcake at 'Alice's Tea Cup', jumped the subway to the Rockefeller Centre (quick Fifth Avenue shopping), and a slice of pizza to finish off the day.

Evening in Brooklyn for a caberet over the floating booths at the Galapagos club. How do you choose one photo from the day? Sometimes blip gives you such dilemmas. But the baseball in the park won.
