ANZAC Day flypast
Today is ANZAC Day; the commemoration of the battle of ANZAC Cove during World War I. A battle when New Zealand an Australian soldiers were sent into battle in a hopeless situation and many died or were seriously wounded. There are ceremonies at the Cenotaphs around the country. Just before the start of the service at the Auckland War Memorial Museum, two groups of old airplanes flew a circuit over the central city. More modern planes had gone first, followed by this group of six; three being biplanes.
