2017 Tuesday -- For the Record

Tomorrow this ceiling will get a fresh coat of paint. I'm not sure if the photo reveals that the texture is the old fashion "popcorn" ceiling. We're not removing it because we like the acoustics. I know, I know, most people hate popcorn ceilings; if that's you, sorry.

If you look carefully, there's a water stain; it's from a number of years ago and actually after we had a new roof installed, but we experienced a severe rainstorm that was accompanied with wind, and rain was blown up and under the roofing tiles. Weird! The roof has never leaked again. But that rainstorm weird leak caused the ceiling stain. So tomorrow, the stain will be gone.

Tomorrow we'll have painters in the kitchen and informal dining room, in the downstairs guest bath, in the formal living room, in the upstairs landing, and in the master bath. This will be just a little bit chaotic.

I'm planning to leave Mr. Fun at the house, and I'll head to the campus.
