Kiss me

30+ years ago I had a thing about frogs.
I would buy frog related things when I saw them.

I even dug a little pond in my parents back garden to put frogspawn in.

Over the years the little pond got replaced by a bigger pond.

At some point a little stone frog ( actually probably lifesize for a frog ) was put round that pond.

At the weekend I removed the 2 liners ( the older one having been covered with a newer liner years ago ), and brought some plants, freshwater shrimp and other smaller water creatures back to Bristol; plus more frogspawn.

Along with a load of stones that had been in and around the pond.

Oh and the frog.

Soaked it in some bleach to remove the decades of muck and tonight started to gold leaf it.

Once done I'll find a spot by the stream too place it.


And yes, for those who follow me I still need to finish the Buddha.
