Stane

Standing stone at Tealing (Achterhouse) this evening. It was very overgrown and I had to climb over two drystane dykes (sorry!) and a fence and crash through a lot of spiky dead vegetation. Come summer it will be impossible to get to.

The stone is about 9 foot tall.

There was a buzzard sitting on it when I arrived, but I was too slow and noisy.
