Stones of Stenness and Sheep of Stenness

I'd told people it was forecast, but was still surprised to see the snowy scenes this morning. I got the bus to Stenness and had a walk. Quite blizzardy at first but clear later. Birds were largely keeping down- 2 bonxies, about 58 red-breasted mergansers flew from the direction of Brig o' Waithe overhead to Loch of Stenness.
