Cowslips

Every year there seem to be more and more cowslips beside the roads! I can't believe the local council have sown the seeds because they are too random. Friend Pauline, who stayed with us last weekend, suggests that it is because the verges are no longer sprayed with weedkiller, and seeds that have been dormant for many years are now appearing. That sounds a reasonable theory.
Still no rain, and I find myself really wanting it to come. Imagine what it must be like to live in a drought stricken country.
