The Serissa Grew Up!

My beautiful Serisa was placed in a bonsai pot this weekend with small bonsai rock soil and some organic matter.  If you look closely, you can look through the tree to the back, you can see the inner branching that makes up the canopy.  You can also see where the tree is going to flush out and continue to grow with finer twiging at the growth tips.  Soon, it will pop with the 1000 stars (little white flowers) because the roots were severely pruned  providing for more root growth, nutrient absorption, and even greater health!   Today, the tree is basking in the warm sun soaking up a few well deserved rays!
