Tall trees and late summer sun

We had a wonderful afternoon today cycling around Loch Tummel with our pals N and S. I took this photo of the trees in the Forestry Commission car park just before we set off.

I had expected to take my usual spot on the back of our tandem, but N struggled with the hills so we swapped places and I took control of her lovely new bike for most of the ride. N's bike had only been out a couple of times before today, and I loved it. In fact, I loved it so much that I really, really, REALLY want a new bike for myself. Fingers crossed Mr hazelh will read this entry and take action!
