Mt Ngaruahoe from Piriaka Lookout

Where we climbed to the Red Crater on the Tongariro Crossing is just to the left of Mt Ngaruahoe, which is in the top right of this image. The Whanganui River is bottom left.

The 3 guys came off the river this afternoon, having had an easy couple of days - of course!

I met up with my lovely sister-in-law for lunch today - we had such a good catchup. I wish she & M. lived closer.
