Happy Earth Day!

A beautiful but troubling scene,  this is the earliest I can remember Steamboat Lake being ice free. last fall was the latest I remember it freezing ( Late Nov).

Today there were Science marches in 500 cities across the globe calling for support of fact based investigation (science) into the world's complex systems.   Can we beat the race before its too late?  Our president today said he wanted to preserve the Natural  beauty of our country, but a beautiful view is only worth so much if its doesn't provide ecosystem services and protect biodiversity.
