Counterfeit @ Academy3, Birmingham.

About 12 months ago the occassional punk / rock song would appear in Twinblips playlist they stuck on in the car. When I asked about the band I was told it was Counterfeit. Their debut album was released last month and they're on tour. As we were away last week, when the tour visited  Newcastle and Leeds (both only about a 50 minute drive), I told Twinblips I'd take them to Birmingham for the gig there. So after landing at Glasgow airport at 2am this morning, arriving home at 6am and grabbing a few hours sleep that's what I did.
They loved every minute of the gig and I've had my faith restored in young bands that the youth of today can get into. Tonight I saw three - Faux, Tigress and Counterfeit. All very different, all very good.

Not sure how Twinblips will feel in 5 hours when they have to get up for school.
