ilha grande

1) a long weekend in rio and friends visiting from the uk gave us the perfect excuse opportunity to head out of the city. so one coach and two boat rides later and we were in praia abraãozinho on ilha grande, out west along the green coast (costa verde). despite rain forecast for the whole weekend we had the most glorious weather, enjoyed part of the beach practically to ourselves, and whiled away the time reading in the hammocks, sipping caipirinhas, eating fresh fish, dipping and supping in the turquoise sea and taking a few snaps...
