" SUCH A PERFECT DAY "
As I have been working hard in the garden pulling up wild garlic and Montbrecia all this week, we decided to go for a walk across the beach and have a drink overlooking the bay. But the tide had come in too quickly using the river channel and cutting off the path so we had to walk the coastal path, as you can see.
The weather was just perfect, warm and without the usual strong cold wind. We heard lots of Skylarks and saw our first Swallows.
Sadly when we reached the pub known as The Bowgie, they wouldn't serve us to drinks unless we spent at least £10.00. Bit of a rip off so we went back to C Bay and enjoyed a refreshing cider overlooking their private view. Bit more expensive but at least exclusive!
After walking back I was tired so no weeding today but will resume tomorrow.
Matthew is coming home on Thursday to celebrate his 34th birthday at the weekend. Where did those years go?!!
I don't always comment but I do look at your blips and hope the week ahead is kind to you all. xxxx
