the miracle of spring

A well earned slow start of the day after yesterday's double protest. In the afternoon we went down to Stockbridge and walked along the Water of Leith to the Gallery of Modern Art to see the NOW exhibition. The exhibition is excellent and we really loved seeing the Lamp of Sacrifice by Nathan Coley again (see extra) featuring 286 sculptures of every Place of Worship listed in the 2004 edition of the Edinburgh Yellow Pages telephone directory. We also liked to harvest of shopping lists collected by Rivane Neuenschwander. Well worth seeing.
