I have always known this double form of Sanguinaria canadensis as S c "Flora plena" now it would appear it may be Flora pleno.  What ever name it goes by it is beautiful.

We have tried on a number of occasions to grow this with out success.  Kanyl has very kindly provided more on each occasion.  Now it seems we may have managed get some established and surviving.  This is the second year running that it has flowered.

A native (in its single form) of N E America as its name suggests.  It is the only member of the Sanguinaria genus.
