Tankers (Day 717)

We had an excellent night at my folks last night. The food was really good and we talked and laughed our way through far too much wine.
This morning my beautiful wife and I took the dogs a short wander along the shore at Stromness and were really lucky to miss the rain. We trundled back home and got a few things done around the house. After lunch we thought about taking the dogs to Binscarth for a walk, but had a last minute change of mind and went to Waulkmill instead. The wind was very cold and there were a few showers of rain, but it was good to be back on the beach. Scapa Flow is quite busy at the moment with oil tankers, accommodation platforms and various other vessels. There were even a few hardy souls swimming in the sea just off the beach.
