Messing About in the River

D cut the grass which always make such a huge difference to how the garden looks. he then donned his waders and cleared all the rubbish out of the river. Most of it had floated downstream and got caught up in the fallen tree to the left of the photo. D threw it all onto the bank and I collected it up and filled a whole wheelbarrow with empty drinks bottles, wrappers and even an Adidas t-shirt.
A quiet sort of day with a bit of lesson planning for tomorrow and a bit of sport watching this afternoon.
