A Long Day
Out early to the last few controls out and then man the start and finish. The weather was kind and the trails the driest I have seen in a long while.
Some big scores on the day with very different choices of routes. Always good to end the day knowing the courses were well received and everything was in the right place and not tampered with.
This was taken at the end of the day as we collected the last of controls. This one was in the valley on the sign next to the maze. The riders could come from the valley to the right and then climb out via the track on the left. This is so typical of the dry chalk valleys the cyclists encountered. The extra is the last control we put out and a memory of the the area.
Now to catch up on the washing!
