A Light Experiment
I am not sure if this qualifies for EP5 because the application of meaningful light did not occur before capture. This owes most of its atmosphere to processing on the computer.
It does however incorporate elements of a previous EP Challenge in that this involves the combination of three captures with Intentional Camera Movement (ICM). One panned top-left to bottom-right, one panned top-right to bottom-left, and a third where the camera was rotated roughly about the lens axis.
I am pleased with the outcome but appreciate it may not be favoured by supporters of more traditional photography.
It has been said that when photography was invented, it freed artists to be more expressive since photography could take over the role of realistic representation.
I now say that when digital photography was invented along with computer editing software, it freed photographers to be more expressive and challenge the artists in their own field.
