Speckled Light
I've been loving listening to the the beautiful song of the blackcap, or northern nightingale as it is also known, for a while and have been trying to get a pic. I managed it this morning but he was sitting in a blackthorn bush and the spent flowers were hanging not very attractively around him. I'll blip him when he chooses a more photogenic perch.
I've chosen to post this speckled wood butterfly as I like the light on the, normally dull, underside of its wings.
