Worth the walk

Each year about this time, my neighbour G and I walk around a mile and a half into a nearby wood to marvel at the beautiful display of bluebells . Last year we battled through deep puddles and mud to see them. This year the walk was easy and dry and to add to our pleasure, we saw orchids, too. Carpets of bluebells are truly among the best sights in nature and there's nowhere better to see them than right here in England.

For the record: Max 12C and sunny spells
