Water Baby

What a gloriously sunny day and great to be paddling in the water!

We had a trip to Bath to buy an energiser for more chicken netting and passed on the way home the Dundas Aqueduct which carries the Kennet & Avon Canal over the River Avon below. The view from the bridge was quintessentially English: a meandering river, rowers, lush pastures, birds singing and trees just bursting with green buds. 

We stopped for lunch at a beautiful historic pub for lunch which we found by chance in Norton St Philip and sat an hour in the gardens soaking up the sunshine. What a lovely day!
