Chalk and Cheese

Sorting out the photos from the last-minute, unaffordable-but-what-the hell holiday in Wales. What a great time we had - wished it could have been longer - it was really the essence of a family holiday.

This one made me smile. The picture sums them up. The two boys could not be more different but there is such a bond between them.

It was cold, sunny and windy and a walk along the beach was about the limit of our expectations for the afternoon. Not Ollie; he was soon stripped down to his underwear and in the sea. Benjamin opted to retain his many layers of clothing and even then complained, good-naturedly, about the cold.
