garden pond

Another gloriously hot day!
We cleaned the pond out this morning properly - bought a paddling pool and large net and caught the 41 fish, then pumped out the water and re-filled it. The 2 large fish are koi carps which we bought in 1988 and one of them has grown especially huge (the one among the lilies in the blip). He decided to jump out of the paddling pool and had to be scooped back into it!
I think the fish have all survived the trauma and look OK now.
