Valle Crucis to Pontcysylite . . .

. . . Valle Crucis is literally on our doorstep, so we had a tour in the morning which was very educational, you really get a feel of how life was for the Monks in the day, before Henry VIII got involved!

Then in the afternoon it was the canal barge trip down the Llangollen canal and across the Pontcysylite Aquaduct actually which wasn’t as terrifying as it looks, even when the youngsters crowded round the front deck!!
