Face Painting

My daughter will not smile, cannot smile, refuses to smile is bloody obstinate.

We went to the Northern Stage Family Fun Day today followed by visiting the High Bridge Street festival in Newcastle, there wasn't as much to do as we'd hoped (sadly the Northern Stage events had sold out by the time we arrived) but there was the obligatory bouncy castle at Northern Stage and face painting at High Bridge Street.

I had thought she would choose a dog, fairy or tiger but she wanted a Union Jack so obviously the patriotic spirit is still in the air.
