Decision

Thus old house is next to the Men's Shed. It really has gone to rack and ruin. The guy I spoke to the from the men's shed the other day told me to photograph the old house soon because a decision will be made about it's future soon.

I have no idea who's decision it is. Maybe the council owns the land the dilapidated house and shed the blokes do stuff in is on. Would it be a project for them to do up?

It's hard to see what off the old house is salvageable. Each corner is rotten and it has some interesting angles. Just like restoring cathedrals it's easy to want someone else to invest more money than sense to do it up.

I spotted this window on my explore the neighbourhood run this morning. I didn't have my camera or phone on me. When I passed by later in the morning the blokes were all standing around at the back burning stuff. Shyness and smoke kept me away until later when the smoke and blokes had gone into their shed.

As I snapped away I could hear the happy sound of a band saw coming from the shed. I swear it was accompanied by the deep purr of contented blokes with power tools ;-)

Other than running and groceries, I've pottered, flirted with the vacuum cleaner, and done a couple of other small tasks. Soon I'll stretch and wind down into a pleasant evening of not very much.
