Wilderness

The lovely sunny and sandy beaches at Wilderness are a great attraction this time of the year. Still a bit chilly, but soon it will teem with beachgoers, holidaymakers, visitors and tourists from far and wide.

Another attraction is whale watching: The best time for whale watching is from July to October when Southern Right whales can be seen all along our coast. Throughout the year dolphins can be seen playing in the surf.

Paragliding offers fantastic views of the Indian Ocean, the Outeniqua mountains and the countryside.

The Lakes District can be seen inland.

This area is called The Garden Route of South Africa, and looking at the natural beautiful vegetation, the name says all.
