Another day another garden
I spent much of the day working on Iona's garden. She has a small garden which has possibilities. One of these possibilities is raised beds. So we built one and it looked fine.
As I was working on it, I started to enthuse on how easily the spade went through the soil and how the soil itself looked wonderful. I remarked more than once how easy it was to work and how well it must have been looked after. I think at one time I described it as gorgeous.
Iona chuckled at my enthusiasm. Maybe its an age thing. Meantime, things in my own garden are unravelling.
