The lost river and the last train

London Underground's last D-stock train, emerging at Sloane Square from the long tunnel under central London. From here the train travels mostly above ground on its final public journey to Richmond. Running over the Underground, the green conduit contains the Westbourne, a lost river diverted into underground pipes in the 19th century to aid development of west London.
