Automatic drawing

Spending some time with one of my abstract art books..."Creating Abstract Art" by Dean Nimmer.   One of the exercises is just called automatic drawing, so i've started with these...and i'm going to try some with paint!  

I've been checking out an interesting artist, Jane Davies with the idea of having her come to Cape Breton to be the artist at our annual art workshop!  She and I have been in conversation, and she is keen to come to Baddeck, but is booked up till 2019!!!  Also funnily enough she used to be a potter! 

A bright sunny day that has a bit more warmth to it than the past few days!   decided to take the day out of the mudroom....i love being self employed :) 

This evening Terry is taking me out for dinner to the pub we tried to go to on my birthday.....hopefully we'll be more successful!
