Brighton Pavilion
Our last day here in the deep south and we drove to Brighton to meet up for a cuppa with Helen and Mike who were down to celebrate granddaughter Georgia's 5th Birthday - Happy Birthday for yesterday Georgia! Georgia, brother Samuel and mum Laura also came along for coffee and yummy macarons at Julien Plumart Patisserie. Lovely to catch up with them all.
Macarons eaten, Tony and I walked down to the Seafront via the Laines and the Lanes (very confusing) with many, many interesting independent shops, wandered around the Pavilion which seemed to be under siege from groups of foreign teenagers and then took a stroll on to the Pier where I think it was possible to get a sugar rush from simply breathing!
Before catching the bus to the Park and Ride, we had seriously delicious toasted sandwiches at Ella's (Mine was a Traditionella!)
I could google the Pavilion and give you lots of interesting facts but it's time to pack. It's a pretty bonkers building!
