Clematis hedge

There were only twelve at the Bridge cafe this morning.  There were just a couple of eastern Europeans which suggests they are either out on the land or are leaving the country.  I saw on the local news that the growers are now investing in automatic planters as they don't believe they will be able to recruit enough labour.
I spotted this clematis hedge in the village.  I think it looks rather fine.
