Getting a sugar fix

A fly on the dahlia seemed a bit lethargic this morning. It was busy sucking on sugar or water or both. Didn't want to move.

It has been a lovely day. We were in Nelson for most of it attending Aunt Ray's funeral in the afternoon and doing some shopping in the morning. We had lunch at the Anchor Bar and Grill where they arm you with a big water pistol to keep the seagulls at bay. That was fun and it worked.

Then we just mosied round the marina looking at boats coming and going. Always something to see.
