Abstract Thursday - Monochrome

Monochrome... a reverie in blue and white. 

In fact this was a test shot taken after visiting Calumet, one of the camera shops in Bristol, on their open day. They offered sensor cleaning for a small charitable donation, and my sensor was filthy! I'd done my best, but tiny smears and specks remained. As you see, having done everything to the picture to reveal the tiniest blemish, there isn't one. Happy.

This evening was worth an extra (and a few more to come on Flickr tomorrow) when I nipped out to see Greg's most excellent band, the Boxcats. I'm home just in time for this not to be a backblip, so here's the fresh out of the camera ever so high ISO... Boxcats!
