West Port St Andrews ......

...... the old and the new. This lovely example of a Medieval City gate was built in 1589 and renovated in 1843 and I always enjoy looking at it on my lunchtime walks. The modern building on the right was just built in the last few years - I wonder how long it will last !

I don't normally work on a Thursday but due to holidays  was asked to help out for today - the extra shows one of my patients slightly reluctant to come out of his cage. Perhaps can't blame him as last visit involved a wee op ! We then discovered he had already removed the stitches he was in to have removed.
