Golden Tamarind

Today has been the most beautiful sunny and warm day. We have enjoyed so many things including watching some of the animals at Durrell enjoy their freshly prepared salad lunch.
Think this Tamarind was on a high vantage point waiting for the food delivery.
Have to say that the animals at Jersey Zoo are beautifully kept and in brilliant conditions, the jury is still out for me on whether zoo's are a kind wayto keep animals.
Though, with many natural habitat's disappearing at least it gives some of the animals a chance.

There are extras, the baby gorilla who is lying on the grass was waiting for his lunch. The large male eats first followed by the others in the group. When everyone had food he threw the salad to the baby who must wait until last.
