A play day
I haven't built a model bus for quite a while so last week I started on a new one for the Port Appin depot. The new bus is based on an Albion Nimbus - built in Glasgow - with bodywork by Willowbrook of Loughboro'. Only a couple of this type actually saw service in Scotland but as it has Scottish connections I'm happy to allow it in.
We haven't shown MV Glenachulish for a long time, the last turntable ferry operating in Scotland. This shows it in it's pre 2014 livery although it's now received a brighter green hull (horrible) and a new wheelhouse.
Busy day today, took wrecked specs to be fixed, I suspect MrsDB put them through the washer but she denies it. She denies anything that she knows I can't prove. Classic guilty behaviour.
I had a haircut (£3.50), topped up the petrol cans for cutting 5 lawns, mowed said lawns and then rested my agitated knees. Do you think I deserve a drink tonight? I do.
