Phase 3 - the pond

Who in their right mind would install a double sized corner bath in a house? Perhaps someone who enjoys having room to splash, or two people who get lonely bathing by themselves? Perhaps someone with shares in the water corporation! This bath was installed when Victoria was in the midst of a state wide drought, necessitating stringent water use rules. A double bath.... Crazy.
So, the space between the bricks will be its final resting place, where it will find a whole new lease of life as a fish pond. I just need to dig it down lower than the new ground level and then build a retaining wall around it, and then back fill.
Now that the hard work of Easter is over, the installation of the pond is clearly in my sights. I have to confess though, that phase 2 still has one course of bricks to go before it is compete, but I couldn't bear looking at the abandonned bath lying in the middle of the garden any more!
