Pilot's View Beach Resort

Love my gurls! There is nothing more fun than spending time with your favourite gurls at the beach. Just soaking it up not minding if you get all dark and red from staying out too long under the heat of the sun.

Pilot's View Beach Resort is a sight to behold. A stretch of white sand beach facing the Pacific Ocean. It boasts of Pacific Ocean waves and an intimidating low tide shore. At low tide, you can walk up to a part where the shore goes vertically straight down into the abyss. The water just keeps on violently hitting the shore "wall" as if you are standing on a cliff.

Carolina Lake was also a blue-green beauty just a few minute ride from Pilot's View Beach Resort. I would have loved to swim in the middle of the lake while holding on to the rope conveniently placed there by the caretakers probably, but it had this scary water current that would seem to swallow me towards the far end of the lake. A disadvantage of someone who does not know how to swim is the constant fear of drowning when near a body of water. I just sat by the rock and submerged half of my body while watching people swim up and get dragged by the current towards the rope.
