Le Bon Gros Géant

Today was the last day of the stage so we got there early to watch the awards. Both kids had a great time, especially Olivia who made lots of new friends and was happy to witter away. She said that they couldn't believe that she only speaks English at home. Dex found it a little bit tougher as he was in the younger group and although he loved the sports and understood what was said, he's still at the stage where he is too shy to speak in French, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time.

As a treat we whisked them straight off to the cinema to see the BFG (or BGG as it's known here - it took us ages to work out what it stood for!). It was amazing and I totally recommend it. The timing was perfect as during our holiday road trip we listened to the audio version which was beautifully done.
